Practical resume resources
Check whether the rewritten resume is clearer while preserving the facts that make it yours.
Your first guest scan needs no account or card. Examples below are fictional, not customer results.
Place the source beside the draft. Check names, contact details, employers, titles, dates, education and credentials. A clearer sentence is useful only if it still describes work you actually did.
Fictional source: “Maintained a shared calendar for volunteer assignments.”
Clearer version: “Maintained the volunteer assignment calendar and recorded schedule changes.”
The added schedule-change detail is appropriate only if it was supplied by the applicant. Without it, retain the original claim or ask for confirmation.
Small scan-score changes may reflect scoring variation. Before-and-after explanations should point to actual source and draft text; they should not claim that existing wording was newly added.
Open both PDF and Word if you plan to use them. Check page breaks, heading placement, readable font size and contact details. Follow the employer’s requested file format. Keep the original so you can reject a change that weakens your evidence.
