Clear answers before you start.

What is actually free?

Your first scan needs no signup or card. A free Google account includes three scans per calendar month and one resume build plus one matching cover-letter generation, once per account. You can review, edit and download those documents as PDF or Word files.

Do I have to pay to download my first resume?

No. Your earned first resume and letter include the Simple style and PDF/DOCX downloads. You can keep using saved documents when you have no generation credits or your paid period ends.

How does the AI Resume Editor help?

It highlights ATS-related passages and proposes specific replacements. You can edit a suggestion, accept it, keep the original, or add comments to guide another revision. Your original stays saved, and you can export your draft to PDF or Word. Editing is included with Starter and unlimited Pro.

What counts as an application?

Starter includes five new target applications per paid billing month, without rollover. The first successful AI editing review or saved resume or letter for a target uses one slot; its companion, matching checks and revisions remain included while paid access is active. A general resume draft also uses one slot. Saving a job or manual editing costs no slot. Pro includes unlimited personal applications. Free keeps its one resume and one letter per account.

Will it invent achievements or guarantee an ATS pass?

No hiring outcome or ATS pass is guaranteed. Scores are compatibility estimates. The writing tools are instructed to use your career facts and avoid invented credentials or numbers, but AI can make mistakes. Review every claim, date and detail before applying.

Is there a refund period?

Yes. Both Starter and Pro include a 7-day refund period after initially subscribing. Within seven days of your initial subscription, open Contact support in your workspace and send a Billing / refund request. This initial-subscription refund period does not restart on monthly renewal.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Open My workspace, then Settings and Manage billing to use the billing portal. Cancel future renewal there; paid access continues through the paid period. Saved documents remain available afterward.

Does it apply to jobs or send messages for me?

No. You choose the jobs, review the documents and submit applications yourself. Calendar downloads, follow-up templates and prepared letters help you organize that work; they do not send messages to employers.
